This program is inspired by Master Hsing Yun, a Chinese Buddhist monk who founded the Fo Guang Shan monastic order. Master Hsing Yun was a proponent of Humanistic Buddhism, which aspires to meet the needs of its followers and become integrated into all aspects of daily life.

A master class in Humanistic Buddhism, this event demonstrates how the written word and calligraphic texts are integral to the doctrine and practice of Buddhism. A lecture is followed by a meditation practice.
